If you want an iPhone 7 with a dual-lens camera, you will have to shell out for the 5.5-inch model, according to a new research note issued by well-connected KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
The analyst, whose excellent supply chain contacts have helped him in making a lengthy list of accurate predictions about Apple products ahead of their official unveils, has cited this type of camera as the “top hardware upgrade” of the next generation handsets that will presumably carry the iPhone 7 moniker.
However, in the note quoted by MacRumors, Kuo adds that only the 5.5-inch model will have this feature. It is unclear whether Kuo means that all models of the iPhone 7 Plus will feature a dual camera; in January, the analyst claimed that both single and dual camera models of this phone were in the works.
In any case, various camera lens manufacturers have reportedly sent Apple dual-lens camera samples for testing. Therefore, a dual camera currently seems one of the likeliest new features for the iPhone 7 series.
