Apple has confirmed that its new fitness subscription service will launch on December 14.

The Cupertino company announced the release date of the new studio-style workout app alongside the release of its AirPods Max, which are already sold out through March 2021.

Apple says that the new Fitness+ service, which will cost $9.99 per month at launch, but be free for three months for those who have purchased a new Apple Watch, offers studio-style workouts on iPhones, iPads, and Apple TVs, and uses metric data from Apple Watches to offer a truly personalized, immersive experiences, wherever and whenever users want them.

Coming alongside the launch of the new service is High-Intensity Interval Training, Cycling, Treadmilling, Rowing, Dance, Yoga, Strength, Core, Cycling, and Cooldown, with each offered by a team of trainers.

Apple says that its workouts will be “fueled” by popular music from some of the world’s top artists, which will no doubt help to keep consumers motivated.

Speaking of the launch of the new service, Jay Blahnik, Apple’s senior director of Fitness Technologies, said: “Being more active is one of the most important things we can do for our health, but we know choosing to work out can often be a challenge whether you’re very active or just getting started. We’re excited for Apple Fitness+ to bring together the metrics from Apple Watch, great music, and a diverse and inspiring trainer team — in a uniquely simple, easy-to-access way across Apple devices — to encourage our users to get fit and stay healthy.”
