The detailed city experience has revolutionized urban navigation on Apple Maps. The feature provides users with a richly detailed 3D map, capturing the intricacies of neighborhoods, commercial districts, marinas, buildings, and more. It offers elevation details, new road labels, and hundreds of custom-designed landmarks, greatly enhancing the user’s mapping experience.

Users in major cities around the world can now virtually explore custom-designed landmarks that connect them to iconic structures within those cities. For example, users can virtually visit San Francisco’s Coit Tower, Los Angeles’ Dodger Stadium, the Statue of Liberty in New York City, or London’s Royal Albert Hall, among other attractions.
