Ahead of Apple’s ‘Show Time’ event later this month, the firm is offering users in the United States a 10% bonus when adding funds to their Apple IDs.

Valid on transactions up to $200, users can take advantage by going to their profile on iTunes or the App Store app, and tapping ‘Add Funds to Apple ID”.

Topping up the full $200 will add an additional $20 to your Apple ID for free, which can be used to pay for apps, subscriptions, music, and television.

It’s likely the new Apple News subscription service will also take advantage of the Apple ID credit, so topping up now could save you some money.

The promotion runs for just a couple of days, ending on March 14 in the United States.

“Now you can load money to your account more conveniently than ever right from the App Store,” Apple said in a mailshot to select users in the United States.

“Then use your balance to enjoy games, apps, movies, TV shows, Apple Music or iCloud storage. Try it today and get an extra 10% added to your account.”
