Apple has confirmed a new special event for next week (April 20).
The Cupertino company announced the event online yesterday (April 13), ahead of weeks of rumors and teases from insiders, who have suggested that the company would announce a range of new hardware before WWDC.
As we reported yesterday, Siri accidentally announced the event before Apple had done so itself, but now it has been officially confirmed that the company will host an event on Tuesday, April 20 at 10:00 a.m. PT at the Steve Jobs Theater on the Apple Park campus in Cupertino, California.
As was the case with Apple’s 2020 events, the company will host this upcoming Special Event without an audience. It’s likely that the main elements of the speech will be prerecorded and produced before going live.

from Apple Park. Watch the show online at apple.com.”

Although we won’t know for sure what Apple is working on until we watch the presentation next week, we do know that the firm is working on a new low-cost iPad, as well as an updated iPad mini, alongside a new iPad Pro. Apple is also working on refreshed iMac models, and they could come to the event ahead of WWDC, too.
One product that’s almost certain to be announced is AirTags, Apple’s Tile-like tracking device.
