Beats Solo3 and Pill+ to be Released in PRODUCT(RED) Color

Apple is set to release two of its Beats products, the Solo3 Wireless On-Ear Headphones and Pill+ Portable Speaker, in “Citrus Red” as part of its partnership with the anti-AIDS (RED) charity.

While both of the new color options are now on Apple’s website, they are listed as “coming soon”. It remains unclear when they will become available for order, but they show the same price tags as the standard options. So, that’s $299.95 for the Solo3 and $229.95 for the Pill+.

Apple’s team-up with the (RED) charity is long-established, the Cupertino company having released many of its products, including various iPods, cases and covers, in PRODUCT(RED) options. All proceeds from these items help to fund research and education aimed at preventing AIDS and HIV.

So far, Apple has been responsible for over $100 million of the more than $320 million raised for the (RED) Global Fund aimed at providing education and medical care.
