BodyLite iPhone App Updated with Apple Health Data Syncing

If you recently downloaded the iOS weight tracker app BodyLite on the strength of our positive review, you can now sync inputted data with the stock Health app on iPhone and iPod Touch.

BodyLite: Personal Weight Tracker, to use its full title, is straightforward and easy-to-use – allowing users to, after entering details including their age, gender and height, regularly record their weight to see how healthy their BMI is. In our review, we called it “simple, but right to the point”.

Now, with the new update, which brings the app to version 1.2.0, it’s possible to easily and periodically transfer data from BodyLite to Apple’s Health app. This Health app comes pre-installed on all iPhone and iPod Touch models running iOS 8 or later, and can sync with various other apps to bring a wide array of health and fitness data to one easy-to-reference place.

The BodyLite app costs only $0.99 to download from the App Store and is compatible with all iOS devices. The freshly added Apple Health data syncing, however, is not available on iPads, with the Health app unavailable for that device line even as an optional download.
