Feral Clears Confusion About Rome: Total War’s iPad Release

What’s happened to the iPad version of Rome: Total War? Gamers recently expressed concern that the strategy classic might have been thrown off course as it was marching its way to Apple’s tablet, but a member of developer Feral Interactive has provided a reassuring update from the battlefield.

In a thread on TouchArcade’s forums, “Jith from Feral Interactive” emerged to inform the battalion: “This is our first ever iOS game, so we’re new to the whole process and appreciate your feedback, ideas and patience. We’re waiting until Apple has approved Rome: Total War for iPad before we announce a release date, because we don’t want to give you a date and then miss it.”

Gamers’ fears had been stoked after Feral changed the game’s release timeframe from “very soon” to just “soon” on its website. However, the Feral army might be on the verge of clinching a major victory, as Jith added: “We can confirm we’ll have some brand new info for you next week!”

Feral has previously indicated that Rome: Total War will be priced at $9.99 for the iPad Air or later, iPad Mini 2 or later, and both iPad Pro models. The Empire won’t be falling just yet…
