Having previously announced that strategy classic Rome: Total War is heading to iPad, Feral Interactive has now released further details of how much it will cost and what iPad models it will be able to run on.
While still stopping short of revealing a release date more specific than this autumn, Feral has said that “the full experience” of Rome: Total War will be available for $9.99. Also mentioned on the company’s website are respective European and British prices of €9.99 and £7.99.
Feral says that players will be able to “pay once and conquer all”, which suggests that the game won’t include in-app purchases. However, the game will only be available for the iPad Air, iPad Air 2, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, and both the 9-7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models.
Still, of all of the iPads capable of running iOS 10, only the fourth generation iPad is omitted. The game will also require storage space of just under 4GB.
We recently speculated that, should Rome: Total War prove a hit on iPad, then other Total War games could be ported to Apple’s tablet. Here’s hoping…
