MacBook and MacBook Pro line-up handed Kaby Lake processors

Apple has given its MacBook and MacBook Pro lineup an upgrade with brand new seventh generation Intel Kaby Lake processors.

The update comes just months after Apple unveiled an all-new MacBook Pro lineup, which for the first time, did away with the function keys in place of a Touch Bar.

The refreshed notebooks, all of which retain their existing pricing, will be available for purchase online today, with Apple Stores receiving shipments of the devices on June 7.

Apple attracted record orders with its MacBook Pro in November of last year, with the Touch Bar-enabled device bringing in more interest and sales than any of its previous MacBooks.
