Razer Three-Screened Concept Laptop Stolen From CES 2017

It looks like we weren’t the only ones intrigued by this new piece of tech. Two prototype models of Razer’s latest three-screened gaming laptop went missing at CES – reported stolen. Razer is taking the incident very seriously.

The laptops were apparently stolen from the Razer booth, and the company is offering a reward to the tune of $25,000 to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved in the theft.

The laptop comes with a main 4K resolution screen, plus two fold-out screens – which are also 4K – to allow for a more immersive gaming experience. Nothing of this nature is available to consumers, which has potentially put Razer at the forefront of a brand new market and may lead to the development of other multi-screened laptops from other tech companies.

Could this have been an act of corporate espionage or just a gamer wanting to flog the rare concept laptops for a tidy profit? The perpetrators have yet to be caught, but at least there’s a bright side to all of this. At least it means there’s demand for it.
