Singer Taylor Swift has tweeted a new Apple Music ad – and this one sees her dancing without a care in the world in her living room to The Darkness’ “I Believe In A Thing Called Love”.
The commercial opens with Swift checking out a playlist titled “Friday Night Rocks!” in the Music app’s For You section, which provides personalised song recommendations to the user. It isn’t long before the track she then plays leads her to completely lose herself to the music…

The closing tag line is “Dance like no one’s watching” – and it’s a recommendation that we would have to concur with. This certainly isn’t the first Apple Music commercial in which Swift has taken a starring role, and it’s also unlikely to be the last…
Last month, Apple Music head of content Larry Jackson hinted to Co.Create that, over a period of several weeks, we could see a succession of other Apple Music ads with the “Shake It Off” songbird at the forefront. He described the intended strategy as “spot comes out, hype dies down two weeks later, then out comes another spot, same thing happens, then drop the next one.”
