The professional networking site LinkedIn has used its own data to compile its first ever international Top Attractors list, which ranks what the site considers the world’s most attractive companies to work for – and Google, Facebook, Microsoft and, yes, Apple all make unsurprising appearances.
In fact, Apple was named the most appealing employer – a huge endorsement of CEO Tim Cook’s leadership. The company’s closest rivals in the tech sector, Facebook, Google and Microsoft, had to settle for respective positions of third, fourth and sixth – though Google did top the list when strictly the opinions of US-based workers and jobseekers were taken into account.
Other notable tech players in the global list include Oracle at eleventh, Adobe at fifteenth and IBM at twentieth. LinkedIn has declared Apple the planet’s best company at “attracting and keeping top talent” – which suggests that the Cupertino firm’s future remains very bright.
