Apple recently released two new advertisements showcasing the standout features of the iPhone 14 Plus and iPhone 14 Pro, focusing on battery longevity and crash detection, respectively.
The first ad, titled “Battery for Miles”, humorously depicts a man driving a tractor at a sluggish pace on a deserted road, towing an enormous pumpkin. His iPhone 14 Plus, mounted in front of the steering wheel and running Apple Maps, instructs him to “continue straight” for 102 miles. The ad emphasizes the phone’s exceptional battery life with the tagline, “Our longest battery life. Relax, it’s iPhone 14 Plus”.
The second ad, “Crash Test”, unfolds in a hangar where a car crash test is conducted. As the collision occurs in slow motion, the iPhone 14 Pro, placed on the car’s dash, displays a message, “It looks like you’ve been in a crash.” The ad concludes with the tagline, “Crash Detection. Relax, it’s iPhone 14 Pro”.
These ads come at a time when customers pondering an iPhone upgrade might want to wait for the iPhone 15 series, anticipated to launch in September. Among the rumored improvements for the next iPhone models are Dynamic Island available on all models, a switch to USB-C from Lightning, and the inclusion of a Periscope lens for at least one of the Pro models.
