Black Pixel and Pixelboard have created a whiteboard app for the iPad

Black Pixel and Pixelboard have collaborated to make a new whiteboard app for the iPad. According to Black Pixel, this was a solution to collaborating and whiteboarding remotely with its team.

Pixelboard is the best way to whiteboard collaboratively on iPad. With powerful features and a beautiful design, the app is the perfect tool for remote teams and distributed workers to turn any meeting into a creative meeting.

It allows up to nine users to connect and collaborate on up to three whiteboards at the same time and although it isn’t primarily a drawing app, users can choose between different pen and brush strokes and erase where needed. Once you’re done, you can share your collaborative whiteboards as an exported photo. The app even has a gesturing feature that simulates pointing and referencing to something on the whiteboard that makes it look as though you’re in the same location.

You can download a 14-day trial period of Pixelboard for free and after that it requires a $19.99 in-app purchase if you want to continue making use of the full features. Without purchase after the free trial period you’ll be limited to one board, no collaboration and no gestures.
