A leaker has shared the new Apple Watch Pro case, comparing it to other device versions.
The new high-end Apple Watch is expected to be larger than the current Apple Watch Series 7 and Apple Watch Series 8 models, and now Sonny Dickson has shared images of a new external case for the device.
The case visually compares the models, demonstrating just how big the Apple Watch Pro is. The new Series 8 will be sold in 41mm and 45mm varieties, similar to the Apple Watch Series 7, whilst the new Apple Watch Pro will be available in a new 49mm size. Although four extra millimetres might not sound like much, when you see the devices compared side by side, it shows that the model will be significantly larger and visually different.
It had previously been suggested that the model would be between 47mm and 48mm, but the leak now suggests a 49mm design. Alongside a larger form factor, the new Apple Watch Pro is expected to feature a flat display and a new physical button on the left side of the redesigned watch which can be custom programmed.
The Watch will also feature a new protrusion to house the Digital Crown and Side button, similar to traditional watches.
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman previously said that the device would be “bigger than most wrists” and offer an improved battery life.
