Spec Sheet Could Confirm Rumored Features of iPhone 7 Plus

A photo of a supposed specification sheet for a model of the iPhone 7 Plus will strengthen rumors about various features set for both that handset and its smaller counterpart, the iPhone 7.

The photo – which, according to MacRumors, originally arose on the Chinese social media site Weibo – shows mention of a 256GB storage option for the iPhone 7 Plus. Such a bump-up in storage for both this and the iPhone 7 would be unsurprising considering previous rumor.

Judging from the spec sheet, the iPhone 7 Plus could come with wired EarPods with a Lightning connector, which we might have already seen, and a Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter. We might have seen that earlier this summer, too…

While faking a spec sheet like this would be very easy, it’s nonetheless reassuring that Apple could be including in the box, rather than offering for separate purchase, accessories that would help iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus buyers adapt to the 3.5mm audio jack’s absence. Both phones are expected to be officially announced by Apple at a media event a week from today.
