Three shows coming to Apple TV+ this August

Apple TV+ has come a long way from its humble beginnings and now offers consumers access to some of the world’s best entertainment. Apple has released several award-winning television series and films, and this month, it’s planning to add even more to its roster. Below, we’ve put together three shows coming to Apple TV+ soon that you need to get excited about.

Bad Sisters

Apple’s new witty and darkly comedic murder mystery series “Bad Sisters” drops later this month, created by Emmy Award nominee and BAFTA Award-winning creator and star Sharon Horgan. The 10-episode series will debut globally with the first two episodes on Friday 19 August, followed by one new episode weekly every Friday through 14 October. The Irish comedy has a stellar cast and we can’t wait to see how the characters develop.

See

The third and final season of the epic, post-apocalyptic global hit series “See,” will drop Friday, August 26, 2022. Starring Jason Momoa, the show offers intense drama, riveting action and heartfelt emotion. Speaking of the show, showrunner Jonathan Tropper said: “Building a world without sight was a particularly unique and continuous challenge that was met through the passionate and thoughtful collaboration of a phenomenally talented and diverse team both in front of and behind the camera. The show has been a monumental labour of love for all involved, and we are eternally grateful for the way ‘See’ has been embraced by viewers around the world.”

Luck

Created by Apple Original Films and Skydance Animation, Luck tells the story of Sam Greenfield, the unluckiest person in the world. She finds herself in the never-before-seen Land of Luck and must unite with the magical creatures to turn her luck around. The film drops today (August 5) on Apple TV+.
