Interesting changes to the MacBook line could arrive as soon as this month, judging from a new report claiming that, according to “people familiar with Apple’s plans”, such shifts are expected.
AppleInsider says that, while these sources were unable to discern exactly what Apple is planning here, it is nonetheless believed that we could see “some adjustment” hitting the MacBook line at some point in June ā whether that could mean price cuts, a spec bump or completely fresh hardware.
It’s a tantalizing report that is short of specific detail. However, AppleInsider might be ruling out a June release for the much-rumored redesigned MacBook Pro, having once again pointed out a recent rumor that this high-end notebook will, in fact, not arrive until 2016ās fourth quarter.
Apple could shed some light on the mystery at its WWDC keynote set to be delivered on Monday, though the company could alternatively go for a more low-key reveal much later in the month.
