The Force is overwhelmingly strong in this one! Star Wars: The Force Awakens pulled in a staggering $88.3 million at the North American box office during New Year’s weekend, its third weekend in theaters.

That haul is, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the largest amassed by any movie during a third weekend. It also resulted in North American box office revenue for 2015 surpassing that of any previous year, thanks to a hefty total of $11 billion, according to Rentrak.
