Vincent Cassel and Eva Green to star in Apple’s ‘Liaison’

Liaison | Apple TV+ | Vincent Cassel and Eva Green

In 2021, Apple TV+ officially announced that it would begin production on a TV series called Liaison, its first Ango-French project. The original series is going to premiere exclusively on Apple TV+ and in today’s article, we are going to give you all the relevant information about the series.

Apple’s official summary of the show is as follows: “Liaison is a high-stakes, contemporary thriller exploring how the mistakes of our past have the potential to destroy our future. The series combines action with an unpredictable, multi-layered plot in which espionage and political intrigue play out against a story of passionate and enduring love.”

The series will be led by international stars Vincent Cassel and Eva Green, both well-known names with several awards in their careers. Along them, the series is also going to feature Peter Mullan (Ozark), César award winner Gerard Lanvin (Call My Agent!), Daniel Francis (Small Axe), Stanislas Merhar (The Black Book), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Call My Agent!), Laetitia Eido (Fauda), Eriq Ebouaney (Rogue City), BAFTA rising star Bukky Bukray (Rocks) and Emmy award winner Thierry Fremont (Murder In Mind). The cast list seems quite impressive, in our opinion, and that is usually a guarantee that a show is going to be great.

The series is going to be executive produced by Gub Neal and Jean Benoit Gillig, with Stephen Hopkins (24) directing and Virginie Brac (Engrenages) writing the show. Additional executive producers are Sarada McDermott, Justin Thomson, Stephen Hopkins, and Ed Barlow, while Joanie Blaikie and Eric Jollant have been hired as the show’s producers.

Apple TV+ is certainly going to have a big hit on its toll when Liasion appears on the streaming service. With a great cast and an equally experienced crew, Liaison might be one of the best programs on Apple’s slate and we are excited to finally see it premiere on Apple TV+.
