Apple Music Android App Gets Playback and Playlist Fixes

The Android version of the Apple Music app has today been updated with fixes for minor issues affecting playback and playlists. This brings the app to version 0.9.11 on Google’s mobile platform.

As explained in the release notes, this update addresses an issue where the first two seconds of tracks could be skipped over during playback. Another rectified problem is that of albums appearing in an unexpected order after having been added to a playlist.

This freshly updated Apple Music app is free to download from Google Play for smartphones running Android 4.3 Jelly Bean or above. As on other platforms, Apple Music on Android allows a user to enjoy streaming from the iTunes music library free for 90 days and for $10 per month thereafter.

All users of the Apple Music streaming service could soon enjoy an even better experience should Apple go ahead with its reported idea of acquiring rival service Tidalour new issue explains more about why.
