The upcoming Final Fantasy XV should look especially good on the Xbox One S, as it has been confirmed that the game will support the visual enhancement technology HDR on Microsoft’s console from launch.
Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft’s Xbox division, broke the news on Twitter earlier today, adding that he was eagerly anticipating playing Final Fantasy XV on November 29, the day of its release.

HDR, which stands for High Dynamic Range, brings much better image quality when delivered through games consoles when hooked to TVs that support the feature. HDR is available on the Xbox One S and, thanks to a firmware update, all PlayStation 4 consoles, but not the standard Xbox One console.
It seems likely, therefore, that HDR support will make it to Final Fantasy XV on all PS4 consoles, too. The action RPG will be released for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on November 29.
