T-Mobile is offering each of its postpaid Simple Choice customers an early festive treat: three months of unlimited LTE data for their smartphones at no additional charge.
The offer is part of a new promotion called ‘Un-carrier Unwrapped’, where the company will unveil “surprise holiday gifts” for each of the next four weeks. In a press release, T-Mobile President and CEO John Legere declared: “We’ve had a fantastic year, and we’re going to spread that T-Mobile cheer by starting with the most important people first… our existing customers!”
From December 1, the unlimited cellular data will be available to everyone who is a postpaid Simple Choice customer as of the end of November 23. An eligible customer will need to use up all of their existing data and Data Stash before they can turn to the unlimited data, which will remain under the tree – to use an apt metaphor – until March 1, 2016.
