The Cupertino company sent out invitations to its next virtual event via email, confirming that Tim Cook and Co will take to the stage in California to show off a range of new products, likely including the iPhone 13 series.
This year’s September event has been given the moniker “California streaming.”
Last year, the COVID-19 pandemic forced Apple to take a different approach to its usually consistent September release schedule, pushing back the iPhone 12 to an October announcement and release date. This year, it’s expected that the company will announce the iPhone 13 range and the Apple Watch Series 7 at the same event.
However, separate reports indicate Apple is planning to host more than one event this month, and we could see the release of the AirPods 3, new MacBook Pro models, and a range of new iPads later in September, too.

The iPhone 13 is expected to feature the same design as the iPhone 12, albeit with a slightly smaller bezel, new color options, an improved processor, and better cameras. The Apple Watch Series 7, on the other hand, will see a bigger overhaul this year, with Apple introducing a fresh new design for the wearable, as well as health tracking improvements, such as blood glucose monitoring, and a bigger battery to accommodate the new tech.
